Originally founded in 2018 and located in the affluent neighbourhood of Kitsilano, Vancouver, Salt & Spirit has attracted organic press and partnerships since its first month of operation.

Our robust model, which included the creation of a wellness online platform in 2018, allowed for the expansion of Salt & Spirit worldwide, which kept our brand operational well through the pandemic, and after the closure of our first brick-and-mortar studio.

  • Our goal is to support those who have always wanted to open their wellness or yoga studio, but feel daunted by the thought of having to start from scratch. We have already figured out the HOW, and have all processes ready to go, tried-and-tested for you!

    We offer 2 options:

    1) If you want to have a more independent, hands-off approach, you can choose the wellness package sale. This means that our brand, creative assets and programs can be utilized by you, but you are responsible for running your own location and we are not involved in your studio’s day-to-day operations.

    2) If this is your first business endeavor you can opt for a partnership/ co-ownership. This is a more hands-on approach where we oversee operations and basically act as a partner in collaborative decisions.

  • Our goal is to allow for Salt & Spirit’s concept to live on. Therefore we offer competitive & approachable fees to support the new business owner that is passionate about wellness and believe in our concept.

    The fees we charge depend on the collaboration model you choose, your location and other factors that we are happy to discuss.

  • Salt & Spirit is seeking partners who are passionate about wellness, resonate with our brand and have the business acumen to run a successful studio.   • Aside from the fact that we have already created the complete business structure (so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel), typically landlords and financial institutions are more open to investing in businesses that have been operating for a while.

  • Our model is holistic and modern - it is in keeping with the business and marketing tendencies of this new era. Our methodology is such that it respects other established healing and wellness sciences, as well as the expertise of the teachers you hire. We do not dictate the specific content of classes, but offer a structure around programs and helpful criteria or direction on hiring staff, deciding on a studio schedule, and program development. This structure is based both on methodology (so your clients get the best results), as well as marketing and industry assessment.

  • Our main studio, Salt & Spirit Wellness launched in September 2018 in Vancouver, Canada. Since November 2021 we have been operating a pop-up location in Barcelona, Spain.
